Ken came back ytd from his 16 day trip to London.
And YAY! his loot included some stuff for me! (and mummy, the cousins, his friends)
Mum and I are very proud of him this time round, as he bought quite a load of clothes for himself! And 2 pairs of shoes! Chic looking ones okay! Hahah.
Oh, according to him, their Hollister outlets have hunks as their live models! Whoa. ;p

Headed down to Jln Bukit Merah today, to Connection One.
Collected my SNB license (OMG #1), name tag (OMG #2), original results transcript (no OMG here) but transcript with ‘Admitted to Director’s List….’ (OH MY HOLY!). That’s major, I should use a phrase that’s larger than the o.m.g, but I can only go ‘ohmygod’!
I was secretly screaming on top of my lungs when I saw that on my transcript, of course after confirming with Kai Ling that it wasn’t my eyes playin tricks on me.
It’s definitely a boost before I start work!
ME VELLY VELLY HARR-PEEE!

(repeat OMG #2!)

I must be a J-pop person subconsciously. Not with music preferences, but cuisine-wise.
Why? I had Pasta Waraku on Sun, sushi buffet on Mon and Jap pasta at Ichiban Boshi today! What’s with all the Japanese restaurants? They’re everywhere! But I like. :p
Anw, sushi buffet was on the 13th with Bixian at Cathay’s Nihon Mura.
It was supposed to include the rest of the gang, but it was a weekday. Some had work, some school.
The buffet was 2.30-5.30pm (last order at 5pm), $15.90 for students.

Sashimi! We hated the 2nd (from left). Salmon was the sole ‘topseller’. :p

We only loved the fish roe sauce on top of the octopooos.

We wanted to try the asparagus + bacon and mushrooms. But they were all ala carte items! ):

The restaurants I usually go for sushi buffets (Suki and Sakae Sushi), unlike Nihon Mura’s, have seatings with the conveyor belt just next to the seats, which makes it a lot easier for consumers to reach for the sushi. But they provide free-flow of drinks like Suki, and I liked their blackcurrant drink. ;D

Phwooh. My last entry was way back then, almost half a year ago! =x I’m not surprised if you’re not following this blog anymore. :p
Anw, I spent quite a few hours revamping the look of my blog. SO TIRING! Okay, I shan’t complain since I’m just getting started all over again. And wordpress has a new look! I won’t deny I had some problems finding certain links which used to be sitting horizontally across the page, but I managed to figure them out anw.
Realize I didn’t change my link this time? Avoid as much hassle as possible. ;p SO, I decided to resuscitate my blog bcos I’m heading into a new phase in my life, WORKING LIFE – officially. And that will be for at least a year before I further study. As much as I hate taking up the responsibilities as a SN/working adult/being a tax payer (etc), I’m going to embrace it! Somehow.
How, idk.
Let me end this post with ↓. I went -LOL- when I chanced upon this pic while browsing thru the album.

3 days since the commencement of PRCP.
But these 3 days were only the orientation program designated for us. We count ourselves lucky, to able to attend these final sessions (with clinical skills, documentation etc involved) before we step into the wards.
WHICH IS TMW!
Before we were dismissed, the lecturer delivered a ‘lecture’. She reminded us of how critical PRCP is. And how not to let the slightest mistake take away the entire hard work of the 3 years. It’s kinda like a wake up call, as if a shake at my shoulders.
Somehow, I feel a lot better now. Feel more confident. (: And I look forward to starting work in the ward and taking up the duties of an i/c. (:
Uh yes. Duty rosters will no longer be like the past postings! ): No more off-days on weekends! Now, we’ll each be allocated a preceptor (whose a SN) and we’ll follow his/her rosters. Which also means that there’ll be night shifts and weekend duties! Muhyuh. But we have 2 off-days per week luh, so not bad. It’s just that there’s night duty and off-day could fall on weekday lo.
But how to plan things seh, like that! Zzzzz.
Help me do my countdowns. 1 week (almost) down, 11 to go.
Jukebox repeat: Katy Perry’s HOT N COLD & J. Hudson’s SPOTLIGHT. ((:

One short entry before I go to bed, with all the thoughts about PRCP.
PRCP!
It’s 0008hrs now and in about 5hr’s time, I’ll most probably drag myself out of bed, thinking ‘Why the hell did I waste the 10mins of my sleep to blog?!’.
Oh wells. When the time comes, the time comes!
What I can and should do, is to DO MY BEST!
And most importantly, FIRST, DO NO HARM.
(:

I’ve finally met up with the ex-colleagues!!
Just to refresh your memory, rmb after my O’s I got into IT course and how I detested it so much that I withdrew from it?
So I practically slacked like 1/3 of 2005. And then! I finally found a job! At a veterinarian clinic, Companion Animal Surgery. And also The Vet Clinic at Holland V. And I worked until the enrollment of my nursing course.
I’m so glad I’d withdrawn from that yikey IT course, totally no regrets in trying out at that clinic. It was the best decision made. (:
I even had a dilemma back then, whether to continue as a vet nurse (only had O level’s cert as my highest edu) or continue my studies as a human nurse.
I wouldn’t mind going back to that line, it’s kinda like a dream job you know! (:
I mean honestly, animals are soooo much easier to work with as compared to humans lo. ;p
